Microwave Style Kadhai Paneer

    Hello friends, this is my first cooking post so please let me know if you like it or not.

    Abbrevations:
    tsp: Tea Spoon
    tbsp: Table Spoon

    NOTE: THIS IS A MICROWAVE RECIPE. THE TIMING GIVEN HERE IS WHAT I HAVE USED FOR COOKING. YOU MIGHT NEED MORE OR LESS TIME FOR COOKING. YOU MIGHT ALSO WANT TO ADD/SUBTRACT SOME SPICES/MASALAS THAT YOU EAT/DONT EAT.

    INGREDIENTS:

    Saffola oil - 2 tbsp(you may add butter/Ghee)

    Onions - 2 Big chopped
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Tomato Puree - 1/2 cup
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Green Capsicum - 1 chopped
    (If you have red its better as it looks good!)
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Ginger-Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Red chili powder - 1 tsp
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Coriander powder - 1 tsp
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Black pepper powder - 1 tsp
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp cumin powder
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Green cardamom - 2 cloves
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Kasoori Methi - 1/2 tbsp
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Salt - to taste
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------


    Microwave Cooking Method:

    1> Pre-heat microwave to 100 Degrees for 1 min.
    2> Switch microwave to grill mode and grill paneer pieces for 8 mins turning

    frequently. i.e 2 mins each for one side.
    3> In a Microwave-safe bowl add oil and heat for 1:30 min on 100 degrees.
    4> Add Ginger-garlic paste, cardamom and microwave for 0:50 min on 100 degrees.
    5> After that add red-chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, black pepper powder and mix well and microwave for 0:50 min on 100 degrees.
    6> Add tomato puree, Capsicum, Salt and mix well and cook for 2:00 mins on 100 degrees or until shimla mirchi is cooked! Turn frequently.
    7> Add paneer cubes and mix gently and microwave at 100 degrees for 3-5 mins.
    8> Add kasoori methi and cook for 0:30 mins at 100 degrees.


    Serve with home cooked chapatis!! :thumbsup

    this kadai paneer sounds to be easy to make nd yummy too...but you didnt mention the measure of paneer cubes...i think 200gms will be enuff na?plz let me know...
