    Dear Sai and Swarna,

Yes the cabbage curry you both said seems similar to what I make too...
I will give recipe of what I do...

Fry some onions (I use small onions). I will cook fistful of chenna dhal (Kadalai paruppu) also with it, then cook cabbage. When cabbage is slightly less than half cooked, I will add very little coriander powder , may be half spoon. Then I add finely ground coconut + Sombu (Saunf seed).. This paste gives the taste like Kuruma... I will use only green chillies for this dish, and I will add it during the very start. Then add some turmeric and allow it to boil.. I just can eat this dish alone ... no problem. You can mix it with rice too... or use it for chappathi...

Hi Sai, Thanks for the oats idly recipe. I will try this weekend. I really want oats idly to come good, I am getting tired of eating oats with milk.. Eating in idly form with some spicy chutney will make the morning happier.. :)

Hi Swarna, thank you for liking the avatar.. :)

    Hi All,

Today I tried oats kuzhi paniyaram.. Really it came out well.. I loveddddddddd it..

Powdered Oats -1 cup, Rice flour-1/2cup, Slightly roasted Ragi flour-1/4 cup, Roasted Rawa-1/4cup, Curd-2tbsp, Jeera-1tsp, carrot & onion chopped-little, Green chilles chopped-1, Curry & Corriander leaves-little, Salt and oil.

(Need to roast the ragi in an empty pan without oil so that the paniyaram will get cooked soon)

Mix all the above. You can add water and make it as a batter. Then pour it in the paniyaram pan and have yummy yummy paniyaram... :) :)

    Regards
    Sabari

No need for that. It is enough if you put it in the batter directly. Because it will get cooked when we put it in the pan.
