Great Soniya.. !! Oats Idly will be soft if you dont keep them longer in the stove.. 10 mins will be enough.. However you wont get the same softness as normal idly.. No big difference in taste and smell..
HI soniya, My breakfast and lunch are same...Oats vegetable oothappam. For breakfast with Peanut chutney & for lunch with carrot sambar. Ragaprasanna, actually I tried oats idly only..It remained liquid itself even after 20 mins. May be I added more water and vegetables. Then I carefully scraped the halfcooked idlis, put them on tawa and made them into crispy oothappams. With one cup of soaked and ground oats I added cabbage, grated carrot, kadalai parupu, green chillis, curry n coriander leaves.
