Some tips to cut stress and panic and turn out perfect meals every day 1.Dinner is late and your main gravy is salty.Simply knead dough and put it into your dish,just before serving take out the ball. 2.Use aluminium containers to set ice cream faster.Spread salt or plastic sheet under them to prevent the tray from sticking. 3.To break open coconuts ,place them in the fridge around for an hour. 4.I f your sauce has become lumpy ,put it in a food processor and run and strain. 5.Spoon tomato paste in ice cube trays,they can be dropped in curries. 6.For quick chaat,fry left over pieces of bread in ghee ,arrange on a plate ,pur beaten curd,salt,red chilli and cumin powder ,top it with coriander leaves ,green chillies ,tamarind and jaggery chutney. To make quick dessert ,serve clusters grapes on a platter with several types of cheese or chop peaches or mangoes and serve with chilled cream. To make chapatis soft ,add fresh yogurt instead of water and cover the dough with moist cloth.place the rolling pin in the freezer to prevent the dough from sticking to it. Chill onions in the fridge before cutting it.
Thanks kanaka for these tips i liked the making of tomatoe cubes- wonderful thought my tips for making easy parupu usali - just take some kadalai mavu ,add masalas as per your taste. make thick small balls and steam it - wow your parupu usali base is ready and you can add this to any vegetables.
