    Hot hot momos...

    Hello Friends,

I would like to share the receipe of Momos with you all....

    Ingredients:

    Maida - 2 cups.
Cabbage - 1 cup finely chopped
carrots - 1 cup finely chopped
paneer - 1 cup (finely grated)
    onion - 2
    tomato -2
    green chilli - 2
    ginger - 1 small piece.
    Red chillies - 3
    Salt - as per taste

    Method of Preparation:
make a paste of onion -1, tomato-1, green chillies and ginger. Boil cabbage and Carrots in a dish. Now add boiled cabbage, carrots, paneer and the paste of onion, tomato, green chilli and ginger. Add salt and mixwell and keep it aside.

Now make maida dough as we normally do for making poori and take a small quantity (as we take for kozhakattai) roll out using flour and keep one large spoon of vegetable mixture in the middle and close the mouth by tightening (as like kozhakattai or samosa). Prepare all the momos in same way and do steaming for 4-5mins.

Now make a chutney of remaining Onion, tomato, Red chilli and Salt, serve it along with Hot Momos. Children would love to eat.. Healthy and easy to prepare. If you have any query, please let me know, happy to clarify.

so i am thankful to u.
i have a query, what if we saute these veges in a pan with little oil and seasoning as i feel it will give raw taste while eating.

    Re: Hot hot momos....

    Hi Mankan,

It would not give any raw taste. Actually the boiled vegetables- finely chopped (either grate the veg or fine chop) and the mixture of that paste would give a nice flavour, as further steaming process is also involved here, I donot think we should saute the vegetables...

Please try this receipe and let me know your feedback.
