    INREDIENTS:
    4 POTATOES
    2 BRINJALS
    2 RAW BANANAS
    1 CARROT
    SMALL PIECE GINGER
    1 tbs MUSTARD SEEDS
    OIL TO FRY
    2 DRUMSTICKS
    2 SWEET POTATOES
    2 BITTER GOURD
    1 CUP MILK
    1 tbsp CORIANDER SEEDS
    1tbsp SUGAR

    PREPARATION:

    WASH AND CUT THE BRINJALS INTO CUBES.SCRAP THE POTATOES AND BANANAS INTO LARGE CUBES.CUT THE DRUBSTICKS INTO LONGER PIECES.SCRAP AND CUT THE BITTER GOURD INTO SMALL PIECES.APPLY SALT AND KEEP ASIDE.GRIND 1tbsp MUSTARD SEEDSTO A SMOOTH PASTE. ROAST 1/2 tbsp MUSTARD AND CORIANDER SEEDS AND POWDERTHEM FINELY. HEAT THE OIL, ADD GINGER AND ALL VEGETABLES EXCEPT BITTER GOURD AND FRY FOR 5 MINUTES.ADD THE MUSTARD PASTE AND SALT TO VEGETABLES AND STEAM THEM. ADD MILK,SUGAR,MUSTARD AND CORIANDER POWDER.FRY THE BITTER GOURD PIECES AND ADD TO THE MASALA.ADD GHEE AND STIR WELL.

    The name shoktha is new to me and seem delicious with brinjal and potatoes . thanks for this one.
