    That is nice that kolams. It would have been very nice if you have identified which kolam is for what. I know that each of them have a different kolam.

    Dear Shanthi,
    These kolams are for Navagruha preethi. THe kolams in the photos are from Sunday to Wednesday. You can put the kolam for the specific day and recite the slokam for that day. During Navarathri you can put all the 9 kolams. We can get rid of any navagruha dhosham and also it is believed that we will get long and healthy life and sowbaghya.

    Dear Ramya,
    The kolams are divine and they also bring prosperity. In our culture kolam has an important place. The first dhanam begins early morning by putting kolam with rice flour which is eaten by insects and birds. In my house even the sqirill eats the kola mavu. I am trying to capture it in the camera, but it evades me. Even cows also licks the kolam. Thanks for your appriciation.

    Glad to know that you enjoyed the kolams. Navagruha kolams are printed in the book along with Navagruha Sthotrams. But we can draw beautiful kolams if we have a creative and artistic mind. Kolams are auspicious and they also beautifys the house.
