    I am reminded of Margazhi masam kolams and onam pookalams :)

    The world is slowly shifting to multi storeyed apartments, where we dont even have enough space to draw a few lines and curves in front of ours!!

    We miss the long and wide streets that will be decorated with colors and flowers :( We miss the margazhi maasam bhajanais! The panagams and neer mor! We used to get a cup of these when mom prepares them for the bhajanakaaras!

    We have to save these pictures as artefacts to show our grandchildren, that once upon a time............ we used to put these kolams!

    Hi Veena,

    I am very lucky that I have big space in front of my house. I will draw colour kolams on special occassions. My grand mother is very fond of kolams. She is aged nearly 95 years and everytime when i draw kolam, she will come and watching it. She will give me suggessions too. I am very lucky.
