    Woollen rangoli

    Dear friends,
    I made rangoli design by cutting the woollen into small pieces instead of fresh flowers. Its very easy to fill the woollen than fresh flowers & also we can select so many colours. I draw this rangoli for competition and got first prize.

    Sanskar bharti Rangoli (Carpet style)

    Hi friends.

    I have always rangolis on Diwalis at home (usually dot ones) and with flowers on Onam, but I have been fascinated with the huge (usually) round style rangolis that I have mostly seen n functions and ALWAYS at my college gatherings (we the pen-ultimate rangoli artists in our college). It is recently that I came to know that they are called Sanskar Bharti style rangolis here in Maharashtra - they say it is a famous style here - So, when I and my friends got a chance to draw rangoli at our office this time, we put it into action..

    We had some flower petals left -so we utilised them as well :) - not a part of typical Sanskar bharti style

    Pls let us know your FBs and any improvements

    Rangoli at temple

    Dear Friends,

    Last week i have been to Nanjangud Temple and there i saw one rangoli. Some ladies drawing rangoli and lighting the lamps. I was watching it for more than half an hour. Impressed very much.
