    very nice swaran. neatly done. sikku kolams are always beautiful..
    is that cement floor? I like it. Looks neat.
    Do you have ther(தேர்) kolam in your sikku kolam collection. give a try. :) It looks beautiful on your floor.... :)

    Your sikku kolam is soo beautiful..
    For me sikku kolam is most sikkal kolam.. Haven't tried..
    My MIL is very talented in these sort of kolams.. She knows number of sikku designs..
    Learning from her!!

    swaran, thanks for sharing the very big sikku kolam... hats off to ur patience for taking 40 mts for the kolam and the kaavi border... very nice swaran.

    Yeah it is redsand road.. Hence the white and color powder on that makes the kolam to look brighter..

    swaran - i mix the colur powder with the rice flour and applying it like we put kolam. u have given us the tip of using tea strainer... i have to try that.

    thank you ashwanth...ther kolam i do have...i have made a small one..but today i actually planned for ther kolam but picked this up for god knows what reason..hehee...but planning to make one in margazhi :)
    floor,mmm not cemented actually...big stones(parai madri),joined with cement..actually at the start of this year my house owner had made a neat cement flooring...i was the most happiest person but it was damaged by the govt drainage contractors few months back :-(...a neat floor always creates great interest while making kolam:)..dont you think?!!!

    but another question.rice flour,wont it give an uneven spread..i mean tippi tippi(in tamil we say when the coat is not uniform) effect???
    thanks ashwanth...small request...but can you please share your kolams in this thread as well...it would be like a common place where all margazhi kolams will be shared!!!
