House warming cermony rituals while being pregnant?

hi ladies
i need your help urgently
i am preg and we have our house warmingcermony on 3 rd dec my mom asked our purohit if i can do he said <5months i can
but i heard from most of my relatives that when i am preg i should not do this espcially homam should not be perofmed at any cost as it harms baby
is it so
this will be first baby and i cant do anything silly which makes me repent later
please please please help

like hansika said this was posted 1 year back when i was pregnant....However i did all ceremonies i had to during house warming and i was 3rd month pregnant then...Touch wood my pregnancy and delivery was fine..However i would recommend you to do things based on your comfort and believes...i heard logically people say No to homams and all during pregnancy because you will have nausea and you cant sit for a long time and cant bear the smoke you get from havan...so take ur call..And wish you a safe and healthy pregnancy
