Urgent: can we do varalakshmi pooja on4th day of periods?

    Hi,


    I Amin Asti my situation.. Varalakshmi pooja falls on 4th day of my periods. I normally used to do lakshmi ashtothram without kumbam and some neivedyam according to my ability.


    This year it falls on 4th day of my periods. I am not sure if I an do it as my theetu gets over in that day.

    Someone please advice...

    if you are not comfortable, doing this week better do it next week. never do it with the doubt..

    P.S. not sure if this applies, but sometimes, they use this loophole, i have never used..they take another headbath applying oil as soon as you take a head bath.. so it is taken into account as 5th day..not sure how it is..but i have heard many use this when they need to go to a marriage, pooja or temple..

    Usually pooja is not done on 4th day. I have heard that if you miss the vratam, you can always do any other Friday in Shravana masa. Hope it helps.

    Well, some of the members are suggesting that if one can't do the Varalakshmi pooja on its scheduled day ie today, one can do it one of the following Friday in Shravan month.

    Varalakshmi pooja is only done once a year, the Friday preceding the Full moon in Shravan month. If you can't do it this year, then you can always do next year.

    There is nothing to worry.
