We can use the same flowers without cleaning if you clean the puja items daily like photos and all u can also clean the flowers
:welcome to IL family Sister vasu25, Whenever you clean your other pooja items you can wash or wipe your silver flowers with wet cloth, whichever suits its make. May baba guide you always, SAIRAM
silver, gold and silk (pattu cloth) are free of dosham. that is the reason it is considered auspicious to wear pattu/silk for temples or during festivals. and so silver or gold items are used for puja. as they are dosham-free, no need to clean them daily. they can be cleaned along with other puja items, weekly once or so as per your convenience.
Any idea of where silver tulasi dalams are available? I want to use them for venkateswara swamy puja. vilvam and tulasi leaves are both available at sukra chennai and also some regular jewellery shops. i have seen this in GRT too. tulasi looks like the one in this picture. .Silver Tulasi and you can get 108 of it.
i use silver lotus flowers for archana. so i do suddi to it everytime i do pooja. not necessary it has to washed. and yes both gold and silver are free of dosha. we do suddhi, there are 4/5/6 according to the pooja vidhanam. stala suddhi- cleaning of the place, atma suddhi cleaning of SELF, poola suddhi cleaning of flowers used in archana, dravya suddhi-cleaning of articles used in pooja. to the items that we use in pooja and also atma suddi. by sprinkling water from the panchapatra which is assumed to be gangajal. this suddi is called dravya suddhi. if you do not know the mantra, just pray to god and sprinkle water with the bavana that it is being cleaned. actually there are mudras that are used to mean the cleaning process. i do not know but have seen my guru do it.
