what are the rules to be followed for keeping ganesha statues at home

hello everybody,
recently we constructed twin villas within same campus. we want to keep a ganesha idol in between the two houses in the front. can anybody give me points wat type of ganesha should i keep, how much height can be installed etc etc etc?

Lord Ganesha idol to be installed should be a feet in height, if it is a stone idol then proper poojas through pandits needs to be done before installation and everyday abhishegam to be performed either by the householder or through a pandit.

You can also place clay type or Marble idols for which much of rituals are not strictly followed.

Whichever Ganesha you place have a low watt bulb glowing all through the dark and light lamp or switch on lamp every evening.

May Lord Ganesha and Guru Sayee remove all obstacles and flourish your home in abundance, SAIRAM

Hi,
if you are keep ganesha for pooja then you keep right trunk ganesha. And
every day offered green doorva .
If you keep him for just like show piece then pls notice that the direction of back side is out sider wall because in back side keeps poorty
