Hey IL's I have a great news to share with you all. I have bought an orchid plant and it has got flowers. They are growing so well at home.
The plant was in a Raw coconut shell.. you don't directly plant them in the mud. It looks very different but having an orchid plant at home gives me such satisfaction to look at my own garden.
That is the first thing I look out in the morning.. Does anyone have an orchid plant at home?
I have never heard people keeping Orchid plants at home but it is truly a nice thing to hear..
Please can Someone add the details of how to maintain them.. Coz I do not have much space for gardening and To see an orchid plant in the garden is WOW...
Raising orchids in your home can be fun and rewarding, and they are not as difficult to grow as you may think. Orchids are suited to most of the current conditions in your home.
Orchids like humid conditions, the daytime humidity should be between 50-70 percent.
The lighting system must be a combination of warm and cool lights.
They require separate day and night temperatures Water is critical to orchids. The most common mistake made in growing orchids is over watering. Some like fairly dry soil, other prefer evenly moist soil, while others need infrequent watering. Most do not need a lot of water, however some do. Do your research; know what your orchid needs to prosper.
I hope you will have nice garden of orchid at home.. Believe me they look fabulous..
