Hi,
My hometown is also in Haryana. Gohana is not a village but not even a town you can say. It is somewhere in between. Other than good medical facilities, i guess you will get more or less everything there.
But I would like to know in which context you are asking.... as in working there?
Staying there would be like stay in normal small cities... slow life.
Regards,
Payal
As of 2001[update] India census, Gohana had a population of 48,518. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Gohana has an average literacy rate of 67%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 74%, and female literacy is 60%. In Gohana, 15% of the population is under 6 years of age.
thanks for the information dear
yeah probably i may need to be in that place for sometime so just wanted to know how people would be there and the facilities there..
Which is the nearest big city to Gohana? I'd suggest you Aparajitha, to stay in the nearest city with better infrastructure and facilities if possible.
It can be really difficult to move from a city like Hyderabad to a small place like Gohana - I guess you can understand how unknown the place is as there is no information about it on the Net apart from the little Prema88 has put up from the Wikipedia.
Arya nagar, house no..... Just 15 days back one could see a full fledged family residing here with the grannies and the grandpas resting on the beds and looking back towards the days gone by with a feeling of satisfaction. But today that particular house of Arya nagar, Gohana, Sonepat is a haunted place. Nobody lives there right now. All the occupants of the house have left and one is not sure when they would return. The house is completely open. Anybody can just walk in and look at the broken ceiling and the planned manner in which arsonists attacked the house.

Hi Aparijitha,
I do not know much about the place Gohana; but please refrain from this piece of news. I've googled it and found it as to be 4 years old and an incident of 2005.
I wonder why dear menila01 has posted this outdated information.... Is it because you just wanted to write something on Gohana?
I believe, you should understand other person's needs and quest for information; and I believe Aparajitha needs information so that she can come to a decision. Please refrain from such lack lustre approach...
