Hi, I have always prepared besan dhokla at home...but recently I ate sooji/rawa dhokla at a function... Has anyone every tried it? If yes, please share the recipe with garnishing etc. Thanks a lot.
Hi, Rawa/Sooji Dhokla is prepared in a similar fashion like basan dhokla... All you need to do is roast sooji first and then let it cool for a few mins, then mix it with curd and let it stay for say 30-45 mins.... When putting it in steamer , just add salt, sugar and eno or baking soda which ever you use in your kitchen.... For garnishing, prepare a similar masala with chillies, heeng powder, curry leaves and sarso seeds and serve hot
