I found both the following versions in the net. Can someone clarify which is the correct form?

This

Karmule Tu Govindaha Prabhaate Karadarshanam

or this

Karagre Vasate Lakshmi Karmule Saraswati
Karmadhye Tu Govindaha Prabhaate Karadarshanam

Kara Mule Saraswathi
Kara Madhye Tu Govindah
Prabate Kara Darshanam

Meaning:
On the tip of your fingers is Goddess Lakshmi; on the base of your fingers is Goddess Sarasvati; in the middle of your fingers is Lord Govinda. look at your palm.

One begins the day with this prayer. ‘kara” means the palm of the hand and it stands for the five karmendriyas, or the organs of action

The first one is the correct version.

Karagre Vasate Lakshmi Karmadhye Saraswati
Karmule Tu Govindaha Prabhaate Karadarshanam

which means, the upper portion of your palm is where Sri Lakshmi resides, the center portion is where Ma Saraswati lies and the lowest portion is where Govinda resides.

My grand mother taught me the second version....i.e "KARAMOOLE SARASWATI".My family follows the same.
