Hi,

I guess I know, my mom use to make it a lot and i just loved it, even today i do same 2 chapati's some time and make that dish, here it goes.

Onion, chopped
Tomato chopped
Garlic 1 piece chopped
Salt to tast
Red chillie Powder to tast

In a pan, Put 2 tea spoon oil and add 1 spoon urad, chana dall and 1 spoon jeera and mustard, and add the chopped garlic and curry leaves, then add onion and tomato's once they are cooked add salt and chilli powder, and then add chapati which are cut into small pieces and mix it well, turn off the stove and cover it with a plate and leave it for 5 min, and then serve it in a plate and eat it with mango pickle next to it, that's how i like it.

try it and let me know.

Hi,
I make in a different way..
First break the chapaties in a medium pieces and keep aside.

Take a pan, put oil,add musterd seeds , jeera, curry leaves...add some buttermilk..say 1 cup..add turmeric pwd, chili pwd, salt and dhania-jeera pwd.. when it starts boiling add broken chapaties pieces in it.
if you want, you can add water instead of buttermilk. I like with buttermilk as it taste different from water.

Enjoy!
Mona
