What is a cheaper option of getting to Pune Airport.

1) By a Cab they charge 600/- rs for a drop, that too in a non A/c Indica which is pretty high but all transport operators offer the same rate.

2) Autos don't come by the meter, from Deccan Area they charge flat 200-250-300 depending upon the time.

3) There is a bus service from Deccan Gymkhana to Pune Airport but the timings are not very convenient.

Is anyone else aware of any cheaper way to get to the airport please share it here.

Any idea what is the current rate for a non ac india drop to Mumbai International Airport?

KK Travels is best for mumbai airport pick-up and drop.

They give door to door service and are very prompt. Earlier they used to charge something like 500/- per head.

I am new to Pune and currenly reside in Wakad. I would like to know where I can find bus time table and bus numbers and routes because its quite difficult to wait at bus stop and ask people which bus to catch and sometimes I cannot ask driver or conductor as bus does not stop if u dont wave and auto rates are quite high. I would like to know frequency, time and bus numbers for routes from kalewadi phata to chinchwad gaon, to kothrud, to pune station, to swargate, to camp, to parvati, and aundh and balewadi. Also what is the best and cheap option to travel to and fro Mumbai on week days and weekends (bus, train, shared taxi or taxi if v r a group of 4), let me know the cost also. Thanks in advance.

From Travelling Mumbai -Pune, I think the cheapest mode is Train..you can get volvo's also..they directly drop u at wakad naka..i guess u stay near by.
Shared trip in a private vehicle like taxi...i dont think it is safe for a girl if travelling alone..
Regarding PMT..I cannot exactly give u details as for frequency,bus no..
You can get a timetable from bookstore..Frequency can be found out from main Bus-Depo..For eg,For bus service from Wakad to Chinchwad ..enquire at Chinchwad depo..likewise try at Swargate depo..
One more thing,Pune Buses do not follow the route no. system as in Mumbai..They follow the destinations via particular route..
