Dear Friends,
I want to start this thread by posting a picture of
Sree Lalithambikai
as seen in the temple at Thirumeeyachur. That is the only place where there is a temple for Lalitha.

Lalitha sahasranamam is said to have originated from here since the goddess here is Lalithambikai.
This is near Peralam in the mayiladuthurai - thiruvarur bus route. One has to get down in PeraLam and walk 1 km to reach this temple.

I seek Goddess Lalitha's blessings before I start writing the meaning of Lalitha Sahasranamam, in our forum.
This is a translation by
