Can this also be converted into pdf file so that we can take copies of the same (I am using computer only in the office and I do not have tamil font). Thanx a lot once again for taking so much efforts (of course, as usual). | |

Dear Kamla,
The love & affection, you all shower on me can never be equal to what I do here, enjoying myself. This gift of love is God's gift to me for all my prayers over the years.
I am not translating, I am enjoyably typing out the translation, savouring it in detail.
Love,

Translating Lalithasahasranamam, that too in Tamil is a daunting task. Thank you for bringing this to us.

Dear Chithra,
Very beautiful translation and picture...
You are doing a great work, not just for IL-ites, but for our families as well who benefit out of these religious works.
Just the other day, I surprised some of my relatives (quite elderly) by my 'knowledge' of Slogams and Rituals :) And I told them that my source of this knowledge is you and IL. They were amazed that modern technology is actually bringing in and developing cultural awareness, thanks to enthusiastic ppl like you who take so much time and effort for the benefit of all.
Sitting in front of a computer and reading and downloading, we can only take a guess of under what kind of schedule you must be doing all this for us!!!!! And you are doing this day in and day out. And God only knows, how many PMs you get and reply to every day with queries on everything from 'Varalakshmi Nonbu' to 'Vendakaai kari' :) :)
Lokas samastha sukhino bhavantu...isnt this what our ancestors said?
May Goddess Lalitha bring all prosperity, peace AND mental strength to all.
Next time I visit India, I would defintely like to thank you in person or at least on phone, for being a guide and a 'cyberspace' 'mom and guru' to me!
With lots of love
Pavithra

Dear Pavithra,
Your loving mail has touched me very much.
Yes, modern technology can do wonders, provided we use it constructively.
Believe me I was scared of going near a computer till 3 yrs back when my daughter bought one & installed it in my house. By God's grace, there was no stopping me after that !
Now a days, I do have a busy routine in I L - but that does not prevent me from doing any of my other work like my classes, cooking, shopping, walks etc. One thing I avoid is visiting friends & relatives !
You are right, my PMs touch 50 every alternate day ! They rang from all sorts of counselling, weight redn, puja, samayal etc. God has blessed me with such loving adorable youngsters like you for my friends.
You cannot get away with just phoning me up ! We must meet definitely, Pavithra !
Love,
Chithra. Quote:

Dear C
Thanks a ton for Lalithambika's picture and the Tamizh version of the Dhyana Slokam. I am eagerly looking forward to the meanings. Knowing that you are a very thoughtful person, it is my guess that you have timed the start of the work on a friday - am I right C?
I am extremely glad to know that you had the fortune of chanting Lalitha Sahasranamam in front of Lalithambika in Thirumeeyachur while ambal was transforming into a SarvalankaraBhoo****ha. I remember my grandmom talk about this temple and mention about something about Salangai. I shall ask her and if there is any more interesting information, I shall post here.
Your abilitity to do and give so much is very amazing and inspiring...!
-Gayathri.
