Can Ladies Chant Sree Suktham???

I have a question like Can ladies chant Sree Suktham?
What are the benefits by chanting it?

Yes ladies can chant sree suktham.

Recently in a television programme in telugu channel one elderly person says it is good to learn sree suktham,kanakadhara stotram,lakshmi ashtotram for ladies. Those who can recite will have their own experiences after reading the above stotrams.

I have been chanting Sree Sooktham since past 45 days...also the soundarya lahari.

As per what I heard, its good to chant SS...specially for goddess lakshmi.Any how ask Chithra madam for more clarifications . She is the best person to suggest

Particularly on Navaratri and Fridays you can recite.For the adoration of Lakshmi, there is no hymn equal to the Sri Sukta...The letters, syllables and words in the fifteen verses of Sri Sukta, collectively form the sound body of Lakshmi, the presiding deity of this Hymn.The Sri sukta describes Sri as glorious, ornamented, royal, lustrous as gold, and radiant as fire, moon and the sun. I have had this doubt , now its clear. Because I know this slokas since my childhood. My dad used to chant dialy. But he used to restrict me for some slokas like gayathri manthram. So, I had this doubt.

We can chant Sri Shuktham. When i asked with my Grand father he told me, "It is actually about Ambal so being ladies we can chant no problem".
