Dear friends, Can anyone tell me whether we start the Ramarakhsa shotra puja on friday. As i have heard from elderly people saying that it should be started on tuesday. This ramaraksha stotra puja is a 9 days puja and 11 times a day that is what people use to say.Can we do the puja in the evening as morning i am busy. Please correct me if i am wrong. thanks aari
Dear Aari, Ramaraksha pooja can be done anytime for 9 days @ 11 times a day. Some people read Ramaraksha stothram for 40 days. There is no particular day to start this. Pooja can be done morning or evening according to your convenience. Bhakti is important. At the end of your pooja, Go to Rama mandir and give coconut. or break a cococut at home in front of the Lord Rama photo. Warm regards, Saras
Thanks Saras, We don't have temples near by there are but far away. So i need to break the coconut in the house. But one thing you said to break the coconut it is after the 9 days puja or start of the puja. please guide . thanks
Dear Aari, Break the coconut after the completion of the pooja. If possible try to start the pooja so that u end it on Sree Rama Navami day which is on 3 or 4th April.. Very auspicious that way. Warm regards Saras

Hi all, I started reading rama raksha stotram from last sunday. i am reading 11 times per day. i am not doing any spl pooja other than lighting diya infront of god and reading. i go to temple in the evening if i didn't read the stotram at home i am reading in the temple. i am planning to do for 9 contineous days and on the last day i want to offer god some prasadam. please some one guide me whether i am doing in the right way or not . please correct me if i am doing wrong. i have rama raksha stotram in telugu if any one want that i can upload it here.
