Dear Lavanya You can perform Anaghastami vratam this month on 10th Dec(Sri Datta Jayanthi) or/and 18th Dec (Kalabairava Ashtami). Both these dates are very auspicious for vratam or for Datta pooja. Sarasji you have been really kind enough to clarify all our doubts step by step guidance regarding the worshiping of datta Swami .... i really appreciate ur help n effort which ur doing in this site . i succesfully finished Anagha laxmi Vrat but was wondering when we place tambulam (8+2 ) ie 10 for all together in that image what we got to do after we perform puja ... i mean with the tambulam pls let me know so that i can take it from the god ....and what we should do regarding the coins which we place it on tambulam pls let me know sarasji ..........i did it on thursday as u said we should nt touch any items which we place near the god on fridays and tuesdays ....so didn t touch today ...as it being friday and also iam not sure what to do so awaiting for ur response sarasji..... when we finish Parayanam the amount which we place it near the god should be given to the temple or let me know if anything else can be done with it .... thanks again sarasji for ur great help in clarifying all our doubts thanks again Have a good weekend!!
