Hi All, I am Anu and am new to this site. I am also planning to do Kubera pooja very soon and must say that I very clearly understood the procedure. But , I have a small doubt. Some of you have mentioned that while keeping 1 rupee coins, the no (1) should face the number written on the board and some others have mentioned that the number (1) should face upwards. Can anyone of u confirm the same? Regards, Anu
Dear Anu, The number on the coin should face upwards only as per my knowledge and I also keep like that only.
After reading the whole thread, I am very much interested in doing this pooja. Although my mother about this pooja some times back, I did not know how to do the pooja. Thanks for the detailed description of this pooja!
Hi Have few questions, You have given the details about performing the pooja, But I want to know 1. Do we need to fast on thursdays or can we have food (rice or tiffin)? 2. Do we need to do Ganapathi pooja before performing the Kubera puja? 3. Any kalash required? 4. I keep all the Gods in a small wooden cupboard, n I have Kubera photo also, I dont have much space to put a wooden plank , so can i take a small wooden sheet, make the boxes with rice powder, n after the pooja is over can i remove the sheet??
at what time we have to perform kubera pooja? morng or evng. and pls mention timing also. and o we need to fast on that day?
Sister Lavanya1981, :welcome to IL family, I have quoted the post of Sister Swathi14, please follow the same. May Lord Kuberar and Baba bless your home in abundance, SAIRAM
yes, thursdays are auspicious to Kuberan. In short to worship Lakshmi and Kubera Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays are best suited.
Thanks for sharing. After performing this pooja what to do with the coins. Can we spend or to keep? In how many days in once we should change the coins. What you are doing pls let us know.
