Kamakshi Vritham - A great Sloka on Kamakshi

Kamakshi Vritham:
I am not aware of who wrote this great sloak on Kanchi Kamakshi . But one mami taught me few paragraphs of this sloka. Chithra Mami with you permission i am planning to write this. It has 11 sloka and I will write slowly. Please correct me if i am wrong .I don’t have the meaning but the sloka is in Tamil.

If this post is already there please let me know and i shall remove this post.

Again let me know and I will start writing it

hi Mits vikki,iam having this audio casette,sung by Bala,uma,initial Jayendra saraswathi swamigal will give some nice lecture,after that song will come.... really you will cry after hearing this song,for the past 10 years,iam singing this song infront of kamakshi amman....:bowdown:bowdown:bowdown all the 11 paras' are very touching.:thumbsup

Wow. Did not expect so much response i am moved. I shall continue to post the english version. in the days to come and once i get hold of the tamil copy i shall scan it or type the tamil font....

Please post us in the tamil font. Kamakshi amman is my kula deivam. I feel very fortune to have her as my family deity. She is very lovely, beautifully handles all our needs. To look at her, 'Kaana kan kodi vendum'. I couldn't express in words. Your posting will be a great enthu for us. Thanks a lot.

Thought of helping you. If you have windows XP professional, follow this method for setting tamil font in MS office.

Start -> Programs -> Ms office tools -> MS office 2003 Langugae settings. In the Enabled langauge tab select and then add 'tamil' to the right side list box.

Otherwise the attached tamil fonts may help you. If you need them, upload in your Windows\Fonts.
