Lord Narayana is Vishnu or krishna

Dear Shweta,
Lord Narayana and Lord Vishnu are amshas (means expansions) of Lord Krishna. They are all non-different.
You can recite Om namo bhagavate Vasudevaya to please Lord Krishna. I am not aware of the conditions ( things like shuchi, time etc) for reciting this mantra. You can also chant the Hare Krishna mantra which is the recommended matra for this Kaliyug to please Lord Krishna. This mantra can be chanted in any condition by anybody. There is no restriction on gender, time, place or any physical conditions. You may have heard this but I will repeat it here for you - "Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare ; Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare". This mahamantra was given by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu for the benefit of humanity.The sastras and acaryas like Swami Prabhupada , who propagated Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's mission, say that this is sure to please the Lord.

is the best mantra to please the lord. This is the moola mantra.

You have many mantras this is the best.

Om Sri Guru Dattatreya Sri Padaraya Sri Narasimha Saraswathi Yathi Raya

Krishna is avatar name of lord narayana/vishnu.

btw...you can please not just with the sloka you mentioned, be it any name of the god. if you have enough time/patience...chant vishnu sahasranamam daily

' you could worship any deities you like.....and I will strengthen your faith in that particular deity for you....by doing this you would be able to get material happiness....but if you worship ME then you would be blessed to get close to ME '

but i want to add something, 'om namo bhagvate vasudevaya' was the mantra for satyug, therefore you need to concentrate, sit in secluded place, be in a pure state, and also it is not for all genders and castes, therefore it is not recommended for kalyug. in kalyug we chant hare krishna mantra

however please note that it is an offence to chant this mantra for material pleasures, it should be chanted with devotion without asking for anything in return except love of krishna.

for removing obstacles yoy can do vaibhav laxmi vrat, or consult a pandit who can make suggestions based on your horoscope.
