hi all, i need valuable advice of ILites for my two queries..please help 1) my friend gave me a small photo (pocket size) of Sri Moogaambica devi with Sri Chakram together.... my doubt is ...can i keep that photo in my pooja room with all other dieties and perform regular pooja or should perform any specific pooja for srichakram. can i carry it in my purse. 2) i do astothara sathanamavali pooja daily for specific god of the day (mon-lord siva,tue-kartikeya,hanuman& durga devi......) ...my doubt is.... the akshantalu (holy rice) used for pooja(reciting each name i drop akshantalu at lord feet) are collected to a big box... what should i do with them. looking forward for replies thankyou
dear ans for the first quest. - it totally depends on u where u want to keep it. no god or goddess are going to feel bad if u keep them together. ans for the second quest. - the rice that u collect can be cooked and given to the poor or give it to some animals to eat. regards, jewel
ITs good that your friend gave you devi photo, you can keep it in pooja room or in ur wallet-Devi is there to protect us!
. Dear Saisameeraj, My suggestions are: 1) You can conveniently place the Shri Chakram and Moogambigai Amma's photo in the pooja and perform prayers along with the other divine pictures. 2) Please feed birds with the Akshada rice if you have on a daily basis.
