Hi chitra ji, A friend of mine suggested me to do a laksmi pooja every friday using the kanakadhara stotharam. i have downloded the slokam from the internet. I was told we there is a specific "lakshmi face" lamp and we have to decorate it with the "pavadai" dress available....i need some help on this. what are the prerequisites?...pls help. regards, Anitta Venatesh
This something new to me. I personally feel, a lakshmi picture is good enough. In my puja format, please refer to the puja for lakshmi & go ahead. Remember more than all these details, attitude & bhakti are more important. Enjoy & perform the puja. Even chanting kanakadhara is equally effective.
Yes, I have heard that singing Kanakadhara Stotram on Fridays alone is equally good to propitiate Goddess Lakshmi.
