Please clarify whether i can do pooja on 5th day of my periods

Hi,
I had my periods starting from 2nd december .Now want to perform pooja on 6th december as it is auspicious Kala bhairava astami.

My doubt is can i do the pooja 5th day of my periods after taking head bath.

Please clarify ladies.......urgently

Most certainly you can pray to your heart's content .
Though the customs differ from families & communities, overall only the first three days are when ladies are not supposed to do pujas. Some ladies do on 4th day also, so don't worry. You can enjoy worshipping your Lord.
If you're still doubtful, you can ask your mother/mother-in-law or any elderly female relative in your family.

Actually i have my period for 7 to 8 days so i thought is it ok if i do pooja on 5th day inspite of my continued perods.
