Hello, I have joined recently and went through this thread. Its really nice to share slokams which are rare. I am pregnant now and in second trimester. I get very bad dreams which disturb my sleep and there is no peace of mind. I am completely lost and I fear all the more because it shouldnt affect the baby. Can you please send some slokas for overcoming this situation and get some peace of mind?
Hi ptamil, I hope you don't mind me answering your question.I went through the whole shlokas index now and saw that there is one sloka which you can recite for getting rid of bad dreams. You can find it here:http://www.indusladies.com/forums/10645-post14.html If you have problems with this link not working etc,go to shlokas index in the pujas prayers and sloka section where you will find a whole list of all the slokas that Mrs.Chitra has kindly and very earnestly out together.Goodluck! Sorry to barge. Please chant To prevent bad dreams Rama Skanda hanumantam vaikadeyam vrukodaram Sayane sa smaren nityam dus-swapnam tasya nashyati OR Achyutham kaes(h)avam vishNum harim somam janaardhanam Hamsam naaraayaNam krishNam japaeth duhsvapna s(h)anthayae Love, Chithra.
Dear Presci, There is a shloka called Lakshmi Nrusimha Karavalambam specially to reduce debts. Search for it in the net. If not, I will post it. Please go to http://www.indusladies.com/forums/p...lokas-for-specific-purposes-24.html#post26878 The following can also be chanted to overcome debts: MangkalO bhoomiputhras(h)cha rhuNaharthaa dhanaprada: sthiraasanO mahaakaaya: sarvakarmavirOdhaka: Angkaaraka mahaabhaaga bhagavan bhakthavathsala Thvaam namaami mamaas(h)aesham rhuNamaas(h)u vinaas(h)aya Kadalai malai to reduce debts is new to me. Generally white channa is soaked, strained & strung into a malai. It is not boiled. Love, Chithra.
Mrs. Chitvish, I saw the Lakshmi Narasimha Karavalamba slokam given by you. Is this the slogam by Lord Rama himself? the doubt is due to the fact that I have Karavalambam by Sri Adi Shankaracharya and mother and also my grandma told me that Lord Rama also gave this sloka? Sriniketan
Dear Bhargavi, Where have I given the Lakshmi Narasimha Karavalamba slokam ? I don't thibk I have - or have I forgotten ?:bang It starts Srimath payonidhi. I do not understand your question, sorry. Love, Chithra.
Dear chitvish mam, thanks for posting above slogam i think this gayathri comes in bet indrakshi stotram
Dear ptamil2007, Sorry for intruding. Trust This sloka will be helpful to you. Dear Member: There is a Garbharakshaambika ashtakam composed by Shri. Anantha Raama Dikshatar. It can be found in Jayamangala sthothram authored by the respected Dikshatar....The slokham is given in both Tamil and Deva Naagari scripts..so even non-Tamil users can benefit from that. You can chant the following mantra also: "Om Namo Devyai Mahaa Devyai Durgaayai satatam namaha Santaana Soukhyam dehi dehi Garbha rakshaam kurushva nah" This should be chanted 18 times daily and 108 times on Tuesday/ Friday evenings. If possible, you can chant/ listen to Lalitha Sahasranaamam with devotion everyday or at least on Fridays. Offer fresh butter as naivedya and you should share it only with your spouse. (This butter can be given to any child below 5 years also apart from you two; but no other person should share this butter). Otherwise, simply chanting "Om Karukkaavoor kshetrasthitha Shri Garbharakshaambike namaha" with devotion everyday as many times as possible will be enough. Also keep a photo of Garbarakshambikai in your room. She will protects you. I had done the same thing when I was pregnant. Before going to sleep if you can pl read books on bakti or divine stories. This will give you peaceful sleep. May the Deity bless you with progenic happiness. Thanks Nandhini R
Mrs. Chith, I am sorry that I had confused you. I saw your reply to Presci stating one 'karavalambam' slogam to ward off debts. that is why i asked this question. I have the slogam stated by you. It is given by Adi Shankara. sriniketan
