I recite Hanuman Chalisa, I could pick up meanings of few pankthis but others I was confused... You have cleared it for me or may be my bhakthi has got this post here... Thanks to Lord Hanumanji and dear Sunkan.

Whenever i recite any sloka, i always wonder what it means, and feel that if just i knew the meaning my prayer will be much more powerful.

Dear Sunkan,
Thank you for posting the meaning of the Hanuman Chalisa. It is always good to know the meaning of prayers that we recite everyday. I listen to the hanuman chalisa everyday. This is one of the first prayers I learned when I was around 6 years old.

BTW, do you know which language the hanuman chalisa is written in? Is is brij/devnagiri?

I USUALLY DISTRIBUTE THE PRINTED COPY IN THE KARUMARIAMMAN TEMPLE BUT WHEN I SAW IT WAS USED TO WRAP THE SUNDAL, I STOPPED, AM REALLY HAPPY I HELPED U HERE..SUNKAN
