Default Re: Mangala Chandika Stotram - for prosperity in all spheres.

Dear chitra,

Have been chanting this sloka every tuesday for the past one year. how i came upon this sloka is quite interesting story. my fil had this in a paper. he had few lines missing. he was telling me that his FIL had given this to my MIL some 20 years ago. so had been doing some googling and got it for him. he told may be there could be a reason that i should get the missing lines through you and said why dont you do it.

Actually, it is done as a mangala chandi vratam in lot of families it seems. they do it for 11/16 tuesdays. and give red saree, red bangles, red bindi, red blouse, red flowers on a moram on the 11th/16th. i am not sure.

Am i right/wrong, I am not sure. sorry to but into a beautiful stotram.

Love,
shanthi

Hi Mythirji,
Yesterday you have posted the same query and I have answerd I think it got deleted.
Gothrough the sloka index and you will see sloka for girl get married. Also you can chant Mangala Chandika slokam. Which is said to me powerful. I think the slokas for all gender. So you can chant.

Hope this helps.

Dear Suneeta,
Thankyou very much for your feed back.
Regular chanting of shlokas, does ease our mind & gives us courage to face the indifferent situations, we have to go through in life, choicelessly.
More things are wrought by prayer
Than this world dreams of !
Love,
Chithra.

Dear Chitra Madam ,
Thank U very much for giving so many special slokas for specific purposes. U have given them in Tamil also. But i do not know tamil. But had
these slokas be given in origial sanskrit script it would be better.Becoz while
we read these slokas we cannot pronounce them as exactly as they are in
their original form in sanskrit. If possible plz try to post them in their origional form in sanskrit at ur convenience.
With best wishes
Sd/nischel
