    I never bother to memorise at all. My chanting books are all over the room where I sit on the computer, as V says !
    I feel more confident if I have the book around, in case----- !

    There is no hard & fast rue about timing that I follow ! Please do not bother too much about all that. Enjoy & read it.
    Yes, we can do it for ohers definitely. Praying for others is always very powerful. Infact, I am chanting the first kavacham for a friend who is going through a rough patch.
