Great work Chithra! It is easy for one interested in learning the Geetha to grasp its meanings, but to reproduce it for the benefit of others?
You stand for the saying-"Paropakaaraaya Idham Shareeram"
Great! I can only admire you. Words cannot bring out my admiration for you!

As always, you, who had kept the word, that you would be posting such a thread sooner. But it is me who is replying you late.
Surely I am going to include these' One-liners of Bhagavad Gita' in my daily prayers and teach the same to my children once I am used to chanting it without any mistakes.
Once again thank you and appreciate your work.
I don't know how to address you:icon_frown: because I am not used to calling people by their names (unless they are children or they are of lesser age than me). --Mariyadhai karanamaga.

My dearest dearest Chithra,

You know that you have a very special place in my heart and thoughts. But that is nothing new to you. You must have heard the same from almost all the IL'ites who have been exposed to you:)
Anyways.....
Thank you soooooo much for this wonderful compilation of selective Gita verses. Besides, they come with meaning, in English and Tamil. I am taking a print out and along with many of your other contributions here, shall find its special place in my puja room. I shall read them regularly with reverence.
Also, my thanks to Kb2000 for the precious pdf file which makes it easy on us.

With love and regards,
Sujata

My dear Chitra,

Thanks for posting these selective verses from Gita. This will make it all the more interesting for me since you have them in English and each verse has its meaning. I can see you enjoy Gita very much and have taken all the trouble to post it here. I hope I make full use of it by reciting it when time permits with correct pronunciation. I am sure I would not have enjoyed it the way I do without your presence.

Love,
