    It is very thoughtful of you to post the shlokas in english and tamil here chithra. I have just gone through it. You have nicely arranged the shlokas for each day. I am going to add it to my collection. I have noticed that shlokas helps us to discipline ourselves in a special way which gives us some inner peace and satisfaction. Thank you chithra.

    also please go to the 60th wedding thread in indian marriages thread coz i need help from people like u as to what they do and what would elders these days like to be performed like?.hoping that other il-ites will pour in their suggestions and the way it is performed.thanks in advance.

    I do not understand the first part of your post !:bangcomp:

    For 60 th b day, what to do depends purely on the purohit available to conduct the ceremony. Generally Rudra Ekadashi, followed by thara homam is done. Many do Mrithyunjaya homam & Dhanvanthri homam & conclude with Shanthi & Dambadi pujai.
    All the other aspects are social & hence personal.
