Dear Teja,

Now that we interact regularly, please feel free to call me just Chithra.

You have given me a very nice F B, thankyou. Collection (& trying out) of recipes & collection ( & chanting as well) of shlokas, have been my hobbies for many, many years. I cannot thank I L for giving me a platform, to share these with all of you. I am very enthusiastic about it & God has given me an equally enthusiastic friend in kb for pdf conversion of the same.

For your child - from the very early days, take her to the puja cupboard in the morning ( after brushing the teeth, drinking milk etc) & make her bow to the altar there. Teach her to chant any one line - Om Namashivaya or Om namo Narayanaya or Om Ganapathaye namah or Ambaji ki jai any other one liner. Make her chant it many times. Repeat this once in the evening.
You start chanting the childrens shlokas , that I have given loudly everyday so that she will listen to them & gradually learn it. Do not force her into anything - do it casually (looking!), in course of time, she will get into the habit.
Love,
Chithra.

Dear Radha,
Thankyou very much for the F b.
There is no special rule or naivedhyam at all. No archanai need be done. You can standardise the daily naivedyam as dry fruits,.
Special days for Ganesha are Tuesday, Friday, Chathurthi etc.You can also chant on any day of your convenience.
Love,
Chithra.

Dear Chithra

I have saved the picture of kandrishti vinayagar. As you know that my favourite deity is the brother of Vinayagar I would love to have Murugan 108 potris also. I had already taken the print out of sivan 108 potris in Tamil and English. Both the english and Tamil version helps me in reciting it with confident. Planning to recite on every Mondays.

Thank you very very much.

regards
vidhi

My dear Chithra

Thank u for posting Ganesha ashtothram and potris. I enjoyed the pictures of both the Ganeshas. I am planning to chant the ashtothram for Chathurthis. My dear Priya,
Thankyou for the F b.
Knowing that there are a few religiously inclined persons like you, I am posting more & more shlokas from my collection for the benefit of you.
I am just drafting some specific Subramanya shlokas for special purposes (Sanskrit in English & Tamil Fonts) & Murugan potris in tamil.
Love,
Chithra.
