Default Dear Mrs Chithra

I am so glad to see these special slokams from Sree Vishnu Sahasranamam (SVS) with specific phala srutis. I look forward to more on this series. I have two requests:

1) Can you put the slokam number so that we can trace it immediately in our books (in Tamil or Malayalam).

2) Recently, I started reading a SVS series where each naamam has a specific mantra phalam: For eg:

for successful journeys in train, bus, plane, life- OM YOGAVIDAM NETRE NAMAHA

Like this for every naamam there is a phalam. I got only about 15, do you have more?

For women like me who live in Trivandrum or other places, access to this kind of spiritual info and classes in limited. You are filling a major void in our minds. Thank you.

warm regards
Vidya

Default Hello Vidya !

I have 11 more special phala shlokams, which I shall finish first. Then I will check the book for the number, edit & give. I do not think I have the mantra phalam details for every namavali. I shall check again and write to you.
Love & regards,
Chithra.

Default Dear Mrs Chithra

Thank you for the eleven more slokams from SVS. Of all your work so far in IL, this is the most auspiscious and useful- to use a SVS term, full of kalyana gunams.

I have just one slokam to add this set, which I am sure you already know. I got this from my Yoga master, Poduval saar.

To get rid of anger, competitive spirit, greed, bad thoughts- slokam 16 in phala sruthi

Na krodho, na cha maalsaryam, na lobho nashubamathi
Bavanthi kritha punyanam bhakthanam purushottame.

NB: I am typing out of memory, so terms may be incorrect. Just to outline the slokam so that it can be placed.

with grateful regards
Vidya

Default Really great!

Dear Mrs.Chithra,
I find this thread to be most useful and informative.I appreciate all the effort and hardwork you are putting in for us.Yesterday i chanted "nethropanishad" and am planning to do it every Sunday.Again today i will take the remaining printouts and include them in my daily routine.
I was wondering,Please tell me whats the purpose of chanting "Vishnu sahasranamam"?

Love,
Suba.

Default Vidya, To appreciate another person is a kalyana gunam, as well !

Dear Vidya,
I have edited & added on the shloka, given by you, thankyou very much.
The general nature of human beings is stinginess when it comes to appreciating others! You are a golden exception to that rule, Vidya. You & a few others follow me in both the forums so regularly that I feel like sharing more & more !
Love & regards,
Chithra.

Default Hello Suba !

Vishnu sahasranamam is one of the most powerful yet simple shlokam. It is comparatively easy to learn & is supposed to be an " anytime shlokam"
Even if you do not know it, just put the casette at home every day- the sound vibrations will do a lot of good !
Love & regards,
Chithra.
