Radha Bandham by Sri Pamban Swamigal

Radha Bandham is the song/sloka written by Sri Pamban Swamigal. If we chant this mantram, this will protect us from accidents. We can have this photo of Radham and do pooja.

I have this sloka and thought of sharing this with you all.

Iirul porudhaa vambalach chiththennu muruga

bed time prayer

Shloka to drive away evil dreams and have a peaceful sleep

Following is the sholka taught by my parents when I was a kid in order to put me to sleep without fear. They said that on reciting this thrice before sleep; lord rama, lord hanuman, garuda and bheema would be present in all directions North, South, East and West constantly protecting me and keeping me away from any bad dream and would bless me with a peaceful sleep. I used to recite this 3 times by having my hands folded while laying in the bed.

Rama skandam hanumantham vaynatheyam vrukodaram
Shayaneya samasmare nithyam duswapnam thasya nashyathi

Meaning:- By praying to Lord Hanuman, Garuda (vaynatheyam), Bheema(vrukodhara) ; the brave people would destroy the bad dreams (duswapnam)

I learnt this sloka from my mother during my childhood days and still chanting it before going to sleep. thanks for sharing.
