As usual, this year we have decorated our golu on dedication to our kula dheivam Muruga. We have brought the story of kaarthigai pengal, a scene of kaavadi and pal kodam before your sight. The heart-throbbing handsome Muruga also comes in the Golden Chariot to bless all his golden hearted devotees in our golu. As the centre of attraction we have also kept a big idol of Muruga with his two wives Valli and Dheivayaanai. The whole scene resembles the scenario of Paasi padarndha PAZHANI Malai where the Lord Of Beauty Azhagan Murugan, dressed as a KING stands proudly. As an add-on We have also prioritized Vigneshwara. We have displayed Ganapathy as the 9 avatharas of Vishnu , A Ganesha as a teacher to Mushaka s, Vinaayak on Laptop and his vaahana over the cell phone, little pulliyar resting on a cot and in mosquito net , Vegetable vigneshwara, gajaanana in coconut and on swing.We have kept all these on a separate flight of steps. We have also given utmost importance to greens this year. The utnsils that were used 100's of years have been brought before your eyes(vengalam and maakkal). As the customary condition, the Heros of the Navraathri- Marapaachi stands proudly on the very first step of our main golu. On the second step comes we have kept the Ashta lakshmi, Dasaavatharam,and the big idols of durga, lakshmi, saraswathi.The cutest collections of Krishna- crawlig krishna,lovely scene Krishna with his girl friend Radhe is decorated on the third step The next step is dedicated to the the cool mrs. and mr.chettiar. The last step is dedicated to the pet animals. The cute animals are shown playing different musical instruments. As the saying goes, the best is reserved for the last, We have brought a model of a green park that is next to our house. This is to provoke the sense of belonging of the society in the tiny tots who visit our golu. We have given importance to the interest of our beloved Jaya paati. She is an ardent lover of coins and other such cute trinkets.
