Dear H, Years back, those notebooks used to be submitted in Sankara Mutt in Kanchipuram. But I do not know whether that practice still continues. Love, Chithra.
Hi, My Mom used to write RAMA JAYAM daily. She has sent her 10,000 writings to Kanchi Mutt long before. Another time she has submitted her writings to Bhadrachalam in AP.

Dear All, This seems to be a nostalgic week . We as kids were used to writing Sri Ram Jayam or Sri Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram. Everyday we would write in a plain paper 108 times and then in the evening we would keep it in the Hanuman temple nearby. Later we began writing in diaries. I think My Mother just made us to it to instil some kind of discipline and even we used to feel very happy and fulfilled after this practice.Infact seeing us doing this a lot of our friends and neighbours too began this practice. Now I plan to begin this with my kid. Love, Devika
Mrs.Chith, I asked my grandma and mom regarding writing Sri Ramajayam.. It is the jayam and not jeyam...which has been told by H.H. Kanchi Sankaracharya. This is what they told me and I am following the same... sriniketan
Marie, It is writing SRI RAMAJAYAM... as many times you want.(it can be 27, 54..108) according to your availability of time..preferably in a notebook.. Lord Rama was an avatar of Lord Vishnu, who came down to earth to kill Ravana and bring peace to the world.. Those years He ruled the earth is called Rama Rajyam.. Some write it daily, some do write it to have peace of mind and also in the house as a whole... These are my 2 cents...hope many would come with up the answers you need.. sriniketan
