Default Exclusive tamil shlokas

Dear friends,
In this thread let us share less common tamil shlokas. I am using my tamil font - if you get it as junk ( which is likely, if you have not installed tamil font), please copy the tamil font in
http://www.suratha.com/reader.htm
It takes a few seconds to download. There is a box where you can paste the copied font.
You will be able to read it.
Now, I am posting 2 vinayakar shlokas. On getting your feedback, I shall go ahead.

Love & regards,
Chithra.

Default Morning shlokas

Default Tamil Slokam to chant in front of Laxmi

Hello Ladies,

I have no access to tamil font. So I am posting in english the tamil slogam to chant in front of Laxmi. I have tried my best for the pronouniciation to come out right.

Kaadu vetti pottu
Kadiya nilam thiruthi
Veedu katti kondu irukkum
Velvanigar veettirku
Andraiku vandha yengal amma Lakshmiye
Endraikum neengadhu iru.

This is to pray to goddess Laxmi about being forever in our home.

Hope you all find it useful.

Keerthi.

Dear Chitra,
I can see the tamil fonts and i am copying all this to my pc...thanks for all this. It is better when we can read the slokams in tamil instead of english, since if we don't know sanskrit we can pronounce wrongly...so this is good at least for those of us who can read tamil!
Give some slokams to say in front of the deity, for each DAY, if it is possible and available....that way we can by heart them for all the gods ....
I am looking at teaching little ones..maybe will start teaching a sloka as a part of my dancing since we are left high and dry here. We just recite one on shiva and MOOSHIKA vahana....and i do have slokams on other gods in song format which i teach to even my german students, some of whom listen to Vishnu Sahasranamam also. So will add more their knowledge...they will be happy.

Thanks a million, for these inputs.

Default Thank you for the extra efforts

Chithra,

Thank you for the extra efforts taken in posting the slokams in tamil itself. I asked for tamil slokas to make it easy to learn with the proper pronounciation and knowing the meaning. You made if more simple and easy by posting it in tamil itself. Rhomba nandri!

I am able to read the 1st two slokams you had posted and the morning slokam too.

Keerthi,

Slokam you have posted is also easily readable with proper tamil pronounciation. You have spelt the tamil words in english excellent, I should say. Thank you.

Cheers,
Malar
