Yes, you can chant that.
No special mrthod that I know of. Chant as many times as time will allow.
But leave the decision to God & accept whatever God gives you.

i have come across shlokas in IL for quite sometime now. I have a specific request - is there a shloka(s) that I can say for the success in studies / exams of my son. He is in class 10 and giving his board exams in 2010. Pl post shlokas in english
