Chanting of Gayatri Mantra removes all obstacles in our path to increased wisdom and spiritual growth and development. The teachings and powers incorporated in the Gayatri Mantra fulfill this purpose. Righteous wisdom starts emerging soon after Jap(recitation) of the Gayatri Mantra is performed. Gayatri Mantra (the mother of the vedas), the foremost mantra in hinduism and hindu beliefs, inspires wisdom. I recite the gayatri chalisa as well everyday, my day starts with the gayatri chalisa and the gayatri mantra. i really wanted to know the significance of it and i was told that gayatri mantra is one of the most powerful mantras. It starts like this "Sri Parvathi Saraswati Mahalakshmi Namostuthe Vishnu Priye Mahamaye Mahalakshmi Namostuthe" and it goes on... If anyone knows this please can you give me the lyrics?
