Just finished copying down all the shlokas. Will go for dinner now. A big task is over. I can sleep in peace. My sixth sense was telling me something is missing in this book and have been having a wild goose chase for the past three years and finally found the solution here.

Now I have Durga Spatashlokee in english and sanskrit. Very happy. I am not getting rama shlokam in sanskrit. Hope I get that too. I am comfortable with sanskrit and feel confident of reciting the shlokas. Thanks a ton Chits for the help. without you it would be never complete. A task is over.

What a wonderful list of Shlokas! Infact, I came upon this site when I was searching for shlokas in the internet. Hats off to you for compiling all the shlokas.
I wanted to make a small contribution to your list and did not know how to add to your thread. I wanted to list down the GAYATRIS for some GODS and GODDESSES. Since I do not have the Tamil Font I am writing in English. Hope you can approve of this and give your opinion.

Thanks so much for your opinion. Absolutely, you can make the corrections in spellings and also index them.
Would they still remain under the shloka section? Please let me know which thread you are going to move this to.

Hope you are doing great! Did you find time to go through the GAYATRIS OF GODS AND GODDESSES that i had posted a few days back ?

You mentioned that you need to correct the spellings and add it to the suitable thread.

Also requested you to check the thread on "Shlokas for Specific purposes" as I had posted a shloka for Family Harmony and Prosperity.

Once again i have to appreciate your list of Shlokas.
In the second shloka "Balambikesha vaidhyaesha...

i believe there is also a third and fourth line (as told by my periamma-aunt-mom's elder sister)

As I mentioned before, I dont have the tamil font. so written in English...if there are any spelling mistakes...kindly excuse me and correct it by all means.
