Dear varloo and chitvish,

The same problem i am also facing with my daughter. Now i taught her both of the slokas. It is very.............................................. .......good that sharing slokas. I am very fond of chanting slokhas.I also have a good collection of slokhas known slokahs like Aadithya hrudhayam, Ganesha pancharatnam, Vishnu sahasranaama, etc. From my childhood itself i started byhearting slokhas. And i use to recite them while doing works. Now i started with my daughters. They are also enjoying of learning slokhas. Daily they use to do morning prayer before going to school.

After entering to this thread, really i feel very nice.

Dear Shreesundaram,
Welcome to this forum. Shlokas are best learnt in early childhood so that chanting becomes a regular routine. It is best to chant when you are doing cooking or someother work.

I just had them copied from some magazine long back ! I do not know the source of the first ones.The last one is a famous shlokam from Narayaneeyam & is very ppopularly chanted.

Thanks for your immediate reply. I have not read narayaneeyam yet thats why i do not know. I will make sure chant everyday. If you do not mind whenever time permits can you post the Mahalakshmi Kavacham and "Nalakkamala vasinyai narayanyai namo namah" slokas. Not a urgent need. I am just making a note here in case if you need a request in the forum.
