Hi frenz, I wanted to know if v can keep a foto of bala murugan n do pooja, my fav god s murugan n i admire him in d child form d most, but i hav never seen him in any pooja room in dat form. i m shifting to a new home n so i really want to get a baby murugan foto n worship, is it ok or is there any reasons for y ppl keep only murugan-valli-devanai foto to worship??? pls help. Welll even i havent seen him in child form, but I have him in my Puja room without his wives. Hope that is ok
Dear Feya Sister, Balamurugan (Lord Muruga as a Kid) is actually seen as a family (Lord Shiv ji, Goddess Parvati, Lord Ganesh ji & Lord Bala Murugan) but otherwise separately I havent seen Bala Murugan Separately, if you get one it is good to have. In GajaSamharaMurthy Temple in Vazhuvoor (near Thanjavur/Mayiladuthurai) Goddess Parvati carries Bala Murugan and stands on her toes ready to move when Lord Shiv ji does Samharan of the Gaja (Elephant) or rather EGO. It is one of the Eight Veerateswarar in Tamilnadu. This is only place where you can find Bala Murugan as an idol. There is another uniqueness of the temple is that the Temples tank is inbetween Nandhi and Lord Shiv ji, which is not found elsewhere. Only Aandi form of photo of Lord Muruga should not be worshipped at Pooja Mandhir at home, May Baba bless you and let your new home flourish with prosperity, Happy Packing and Moving...
