வேர்கொண்ட பாவமேனும் வினைகொண்ட பாவமேனும்
வேய்கொண்ட தோளினாய் உன் விழிகண்டால் தீர்ந்து போகும்!
தேர்கொண்டேன் புரவி இல்லை; செல்வமாம் புரவியாலே
திருவருள் செய்வாய் நீயே தேப்பெரும் கமலத்தாயே !

One more thing, among the links in your Signature, I am not able to click on A- Z Recipes. For this, we need to go back to the Recipe index and then look for it.

Dear Krithika,
Your "diagnosis" is correct. I want to finish all indexing & then come here to finish it. To be very frank, nobody was showing interest in this thread & hence I slackened a bit. But I am sure to finish whatever I take up & will do it.

Dear chitra madam,

words cannot express how grateful i am to ur efforts in explaining this shloka (& various others too). I started chanting it for the past one month. since I can understand a little sanskrit I generally try to undersatnd the shlokas after learning them properly. thank you once again for explaining it.
Actually i w'd also like to say something more too.... 3 yrs ago I got inquisitive about shlokas and wanted to learn them & within a months' time I found a very noble teacher who taught me (& a group of 4 ladies) practically every popular shlokas including Bhagavth Geetha ...... She was transferred last year & I was missing her .......... now again i have found a teacher through you. God has been very kind to me...
