Hi SweetIndia, please refer to the link,

    Vaibhava Lakshmi Vrat.

Someone has written the procedure with photos very nicely in English, you can take a print and do the Puja. May Maa Laxmi Bless you.

    Hi Pumpkin01,

Thank you so much for the response.
I started the pooja on Varlakshmi.

What do you put in Kalasam.
I had placed the kalasam on rice and filled it with water.
Placed a coconut on top with mango leaves and a red blouse piece around.
    Is this the correct way.

    Regards,
    Swetie

Hi Swetie, I am glad that you started the puja. I haven't done Varalaxmi Puja but I think in Varalaxmi puja they place the coconut on the top of the Kalasham and decorate.

I put a red cloth and on the cloth put 1 or 2 fist of rice and place the Kalash filled with water, then place a plate on it. On the plate keep a gold ornament or silver or a coin. Apply sandal paste, Sindur, Turmeric powder then fill the plate with red flowers and imagine Maa Laxmi there when you are doing Dhyan of Maa Laxmi.

Hope this helps, please do ask me if you have any further doubt I'll be happy to guide :)
